No prior experience is needed, just a steady hand, good eyesight (think threading a needle), and a willingness to work on a small scale. About the instructor
Kathryn Wardill is a Melbourne-based contemporary jewellery artist and educator. She received her Bachelor of Visual Art (Gold and Silversmithing) in 1994 from Griffith University, followed by a Bachelor of Fine Art with First Class Honours in 1995 from RMIT University. In 1998, she completed both a Graduate Diploma of Tertiary Teaching & Learning and a Master of Arts (Fine Art by Research) at RMIT University. For the past 30 years, Wardill has actively participated in group and solo exhibitions, artist residencies, and international conference presentations.
