Recycling. A workshop by Johanna Törnqvist

When trash becomes precious.
In this workshop, we will explore different plastic waste materials to recycle, using mainly sanitary waste, such as medicine packaging. Through techniques such as cutting, hand and machine sewing, fusing with an iron and heat gun, we will be able to transform this waste into valuable objects. This workshop is above all a workshop of exploration and inspiration, which will allow you to experiment with new and unexpected materials. Depending on your desires, you can use the time to explore and experiment or to finalize a piece of jewelry or an object. You will get an introduction to Johanna's work, presentations of different materials and ideas of various techniques to use.

This adult and teenage workshop is for all creative people!

Price: 190 €.
- This fee includes participation in two days of workshops, the conference, meals, materials and tools needed to make your creations.
- Maximum 9 participants.

The workshop will take place in Mounaval 82330 Varen (Tarn et Garonne).

A Swedish artist, Johanna Törnqvist studied at Studio Berçot in Paris. Starting out in fashion, Johanna took a detour into craft and recycling before returning to creating jewelry and clothing made from recycled materials. In her work, she seeks to transform worthless objects into valuable ones.
