Claudia Milic

Bio

Claudia Milic, born in Regensburg, Germany, at first completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter. After further training at Goldsmithing School in Pforzheim, she studied Jewellery Design at the Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences. She has been running her own studio in Pforzheim since 2005 and shares it with another artist. She sees herself as a designer, creating also artistic jewellery.

Statement

I am fascinated by arranging the unfathomable into the harmonious, creating chains form chains, manufactured of thousands of identical elements in a time-consuming and a repetetive process. This meditative work gives me total fulfillment.....
