Intro
Joana Henriques graduated in Industrial Design and after 15 years of work in exhibitors and stands design she followed on the second graduation in High Jewelry at the Lisbon Jewelry Center, which was finished in March 2019. Joana Design Studio is a dream that took wing at the same time when her second daughter was born in 2017. In September 2019, she won an honorable mention from Portojoia through the Collectiva Meeting'19 International Exhibition. In October, she also participated in the Artistar Jewels exhibition during Milano Jewelry Week 2019. In 2020, her pieces had participated in Brazil Jewelry Week.

Statement

Art, architecture, design, and geometric shapes are my biggest inspiration. I like to add a little humor in the use and name of the pieces. I intend to create pieces of jewelry with a different, simple language that can be used in a different and fun way. All work is done in the workshop, some drawings start with 3D and then produced in my workshop.

Jewelry is born to make you happy, powerful. That reason is the concept of the designed pieces. Let’s get powerful and happy!!
