Intro
When two textures collide usually one of them dominates the other. By putting “a design object” on ourselves, we obey to the way it looks, we embrace its colors, absorb its aura and emotion.
Jewels are emotionally-charged objects, capable of both reflecting and creating personal identities – this is the message behind the exhibition “Get Emotional: Jewelry Design”. When two textures collide usually one of them dominates the other. By putting “a design object” on ourselves, we obey to the way it looks, we embrace its colors and form and conform to the jewel, absorbing with its aura and emotion.

The exhibition features eleven authors and their jewels, related to specific personal emotions. The connection between an emotion and an object (jewel) will be presented through an a special photo session. In each of the eleven frames (one for each author) the human body will be present only partially – it is just a space transformed by the jewel.
