Within a space shaped by design, these contemporary jewellery works - marked by speculation and experimentation - encounter a new audience in Shenzhen. The exhibition’s content and narrative remain unchanged; what shifts is not the exhibition itself, but its relationship to the space in which it is temporarily situated.

Here, B-Design Hub functions as a docking point, allowing the pearl as a material to continue unfolding its unfinished narratives through different cultural and experiential reflections.

The exhibition brings together ten internationally recognised jewellery artists from diverse cultural backgrounds across Asia, Europe, and South Africa: Benedikt Fischer (AT), Carina Shoshtary (DE), Daniel Kruger (ZA/DE), Jiro Kamata (JP), Junwon Jung (KR), Karl Fritsch (NZ/DE), Lin Cheung (GB), Marc Monzó (ES), Sam Tho Duong (VN/DE), and Zhipeng Wang (CN). Using pearls as a shared medium, each artist presents a body of jewellery works, engaging in a profound dialogue that transcends cultural and symbolic systems.
