Intro
Nine artists from Israel discuss gender roles, body image, femininity and a woman’s place in society using jewelry as their language of expression.

Artist list

Anat Aboucaya Grozovski, Yotam Bahat, Keren Gispan, Rill Greenfeld, Batami Kober, Tamar Paley, Katia Rabey, Daniella Saraya, Sofia Zakharova
Jewelry has always been a means to make a statement - even the most commercial of pieces. Contemporary jewelry is even more articulate in that matter – sometimes even more articulate than words themselves.
The name for this exhibition refers to popular opinion that women are often “too dramatic”, associated with qualities such as hysteria and overreacting. Artists of the show celebrate the stamina that comes with such emotions turning it into art, a means for them to be heard - a virtue, not a weakness.

Friday, March 15th, from 11 am to 1 pm.
Meet the artist for a gallery talk to learn more about there work in the exhibition.

Hours

11 am - 6 pm.
