Intro
The 2nd Lisbon Contemporary Jewelry Biennial seeks to reflect on the way in which jewelry expresses and represents politics and power. The specific theme “Political Jewels. Joias de Poder” encompasses these two dimensions and the title “Madrugada” is inspired by the poem by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andersen.
