The Glasgow School of Art invites interested individuals to apply to the Artist in Residence (AIR) programme, an opportunity to develop your own work and technical skills in a creative environment, without the constraints of set course work or timetable.

BA (hons) silversmithing and jewellery design at the Glasgow School of Art is pleased to announce its Artist in Residence (AIR) programme and invites interested individuals to apply directly to Anna Gordon, Head of Department.

This is an opportunity for graduates to develop new work and technical skills in a collaborative and creative environment. The successful candidates will have access to all of the workshop facilities in the silversmithing and jewellery department at GSA and in return will support students in studio projects. This position is not only an opportunity to develop your own work but would also allow you to positively extend your CV.

- Workshop access is between 8.00am - 8:00pm, Monday - Thursday 5.00pm, Friday &  Saturdays 8am – 5pm.
- Session dates run from the middle of September to the middle of June (confirmed dates will be supplied).
- Artists in Residence would normally be expected to attend for a minimum of three days per week, for the full session.
- The residency will normally terminate at the end of session unless by special arrangement with the Head of the Department.
