SNAG celebrates its 50th anniversary next year at the Chicago conference, The Loop: Coming Full Circle. The Exhibition in Motion committee is seeking works that reflect this milestone. SNAG's Exhibition in Motion is a runway-type live exhibition event that takes place at the conference.
How do you see gold?
Glitz, glam, indulgent, excessive, subtle or even demure? Gold goes beyond a material, it is a color, a signifier and a feeling. Translate the idea of gold literally, or let it transport you to a golden place!
GO BIG -- think feet, not inches. All works will be presented on live models and must be large scale and easily viewed from a runway.

If your piece is selected, please note:
_ Artists may recruit their own model, however pieces must be ADJUSTABLE or made to fit ANY BODY SIZE.
_ Artists do not have to be present at the conference or event; Pieces can be shipped. Shipping costs to and from the exhibition are the responsibility of the artist(s).
_ All pieces must be made to either be worn or carried by a model(s). Models will be in the work for 2+ hours so wearability and durability are of extreme importance.
_ Objects must be large and easily visible from a distance.
_ Professional hair and makeup is provided for the models.
_ Artist(s) receive free admission to the Exhibition in Motion AURUM: The Golden Year.
