The PREZENTACJE (PRESENTATIONS) competition is a prestigious annual event that has been promoting contemporary jewellery in Poland for over 25 years. The theme of the 22nd edition is “SILENCE” — interpreted both as peace and as tension, absence, or what remains unspoken.
The exhibition will take place at the Museum of Amber in Gdańsk, Poland.
We invite artists and creators of contemporary jewellery to engage with the theme of silence in all its complexity.
In a world that speaks too loudly, too fast, and too much, silence becomes a choice.
An escape from stimuli overload.
A space where one can finally hear oneself.
A pause between words. A breath. A glance turned inward.
But silence is not only peace.
Silence can be tension. It can be an absence that hurts. At times, it is ominous.
It can be an unspoken word that grows heavy.
The stillness after loss. Silence within a relationship. Silence that does not soothe, but oppresses.
Jewellery — as an intimate and personal form — may become a place where all these meanings meet.
We invite jewellery artists to explore the theme of silence in all its complexity.
Competition results
The announcement of results and the awards ceremony will take place on 26 March 2026 during the opening at the Museum of Amber in Gdańsk, and within the framework of the AMBERIF Fair.
Jury:
- Paweł Kaczyński
- Jury presidents; Prof. dr hab. Agata Danielak - Kujda; Agata Nartowska; Renata Adamowicz, Monika Szpatowicz.
