Intro
Explore the science of alloying and reticulation in this hands-on, two-day workshop with goldsmith Stavros Constantinou at the Goldsmiths’ Centre. Learn to create your own silver alloy by combining pure silver and copper, then use heat to produce rich, textured surfaces.
Through demonstrations and practical making, you’ll melt, pour and roll your alloy into sheet, before developing reticulation techniques to form dynamic ripples and patterns.
Ideal for intermediate makers, this course will deepen your understanding of metallurgy and help you refine your technical skills. You’ll leave with your own reticulated silver sheet, ready to use in your work, and benefit from personalised guidance in a small group setting.

Dates: 24 - 25 April 2026
Hours: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Price: £389 (3 places available)
Course level: Intermediate
