Join Elsa Tierney and Kumiko Kihara for an exploration of the Japanese wax sculpting technique mitsuro hikime, past and present, celebrating the launch of their book Mitsuro Hikime: Japanese Wax Sculpting.
Chaired by Julia Skilton, the evening begins with a talk on the history of the technique in Japanese metalwork and its contemporary practice. The authors will also share visual material drawn from their research and creative practice in Japan and beyond.

Deadline: Tickets can be purchased until the event begins
Price: £15 (includes a drink)
