How do you price jewellery or silversmithing for wholesale? This online panel talk will help you understand the real costs behind your pricing and how retail markups impact your margins.
Featuring four experts from buying, gallery curation, and jewellery business coaching, the session explores whether wholesale is right for you and how to do it sustainably. With practical insights and personal experiences, plus time for questions and peer networking, you’ll leave with clarity and tools to price with purpose.

Alison Skeates
Alison Skeates is the co-owner and Buying Director at E.C.One, a London-based jewellery boutique and workshop. With a strong focus on sustainability, she curates collections from independent designers while overseeing bespoke in-house production. Alison brings years of retail insight and first-hand experience of guiding emerging makers into the market. Her knowledge of consumer trends and pricing structures makes her a key voice for jewellers navigating the realities of wholesale, galleries, and commercial partnerships.
Jessica Rose
Jessica Rose is the founder of Jewellers Academy and author of Start and Grow a Profitable Jewellery Business. With over a million students worldwide, she offers business and making skills through online and in-person training. From launching her first business at 19 to building multiple 7-figure companies, Jess now supports others in building sustainable creative careers. Her tools, podcasts, and masterclasses—including her free pricing calculator—help jewellers price for profit with confidence.
Jade Mellor
Jade Mellor is both a practising jeweller and Gallery Curator at Gill Wing Jewellery in London. With over a decade curating and selling contemporary jewellery, she offers dual insight into retail strategy and making. Jade has worked with hundreds of designers and understands the nuances of pricing, from both a creative and commercial angle. Her own work is stocked internationally, giving her a unique perspective on the challenges of sustainable pricing across markets.
Emily Cranny
Emily Cranny is an Arts Consultant at New Ashgate Gallery, where she curates and programmes the jewellery collections. A graduate of Falmouth University, she joined the gallery in 2020 after initially volunteering. New Ashgate is a non-profit organisation that has supported emerging makers for over 60 years. Emily brings specialist knowledge of gallery sales, craft exhibition curation, and the support structures that can help makers establish viable wholesale relationships.
