This Video was first shown at Artisphere in Washington DC as part of an arts exhibition titled Contain Maintain Sustain in 2011.
The Necklacewas cast, using gelatinized red wine which melts at skin temperature, this took about two hours, condensed into 30 seconds of time lapse photography. Themes of impermanence, endurance, the question of preciousness.
