Intro
The exhibition Contingent Horizons focuses on the personal explorations on craft as the fracture and passage between the hand and the brain, in search of where the meaning is created between the form and others, exploring material narratives through techniques and practices. 

Artist list

Yufang Hu
Yufang Hu is a Taiwanese maker, currently based in Kaohsiung Taiwan. With a background in linguistics, she is interested in the intersection of signs and meaning making through material narratives. She mainly works with metal and stones, and her works often embark on a departure from form, tracing the line between here and there. 

After receiving her BFA from Alchimia Contemporary Jewelry School in Florence, Italy, she continued her master in Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn, Estonia, during which she did an exchange semester at Trier University Idar-Oberstein campus to study lapidary. Her work has been selected in Legnica Silver festival and won the MA Best Young Applied Artist Award at Estonian Academy of Arts in 2022.
