Jewelry and Anatomy: A curatorial selection:
With the main objective to show the quality and diversity of contemporary jewelry, opening its doors to the general public, Tincal lab invites every year jewelers from around the world for a Challenge: the creation of up to 3 pieces with the maximum price of 100€ each, inspired by a theme.
In 2019, the 5th edition proposed a reflection on the theme Jewelry and Anatomy and brought together more than 150 exclusive pieces from 58 artists from 29 countries.

Romanian Jewelry Week
The first edition of Romanian Jewelry Week is dedicated to the 10 years anniversary of Assamblage and the birth of a new community of artists and jewelry designers in Romania.
Assamblage Contemporary Jewelry School was founded in October 2010 at the initiative of designer David Sandu as the first educational platform in Romania dedicated to jewelry design and a foundation for a new generation of contemporary jewelry designers and artists rising to international standards.
Over the years, Assamblage held over 150 training sessions and counts over 700 alumni. It has become a place where people meet to talk, learn new things and start projects together.

Tincal Lab (Portugal) - Guest Institution
Tincal lab is a contemporary jewelry work+shop space founded by Portuguese jeweler Ana Pina, located in the heart of Porto Art District: CCBombarda, shop 25. Under the motto curating and experimenting in contemporary jewelry, we regularly launch collaborations and events that help to promote this amazing creative area, such as workshops with invited jewelers, individual and collective exhibitions, featuring works by local and international artists.
