- A CV with images (no more than 10) of current work
- A short statement stating your academic strengths/technical skills and how you would intend to develop your work during the residency

BA(hons) Silversmithing and Jewellery Design at the Glasgow School of Art is now welcoming portfolio applications for Artists in Residence for 2023/24.
This is an opportunity for graduates to develop new work and technical skills in a collaborative and creative environment.
 
BA(Hons) Silversmithing and Jewellery Design at the Glasgow School of Art is pleased to announce it is welcoming portfolio applications for Artists in Residence. This is an opportunity for graduates to develop new work and technical skills in a collaborative and creative environment. The successful candidates will have access to all of the workshop facilities in the silversmithing and jewellery department at GSA and in return will support students in studio projects. This unpaid position is not only an opportunity to develop your own work but would also allow you to extend your CV positively.


Timings
- Workshop access.
- Monday – Friday 8.00 am - 8:00 pm.
- Saturdays 8 am – 5 pm.
- Session dates run from the middle of September to the middle of June (confirmed dates will be supplied)
- Artists in Residence would generally be expected to attend for a minimum of three days per week, for the full session
- The residency will generally terminate at the end of the session in June, unless by special arrangement with the Head of Department
