Pia Pollems loves to collect everyday objects: toys, fashion jewellery, or things she finds along the way. Her work combines materials from different backgrounds, bringing together contradictory values and material stories. She is especially interested in letting collections start to form narratives.
Sometimes it's the urge to scramble these objects together and freeze them in that moment that becomes the inspiration for the jewellery piece.
