In November 1981, Gallery Spektrum was founded by Marianne Schliwinski and Jürgen Eickhoff. Specializing in contemporary jewelry, they also are showing photography and painting. In 2018 Gallery Spektrum had to move to Karlsruhe in the southwest of Germany.

Beside the "classical" gallery work we are also curating itinering exhibtions like by example: Was Ihr Wollt, u.a. in the Badische Landesmuseum, Karlsruhe 1994; Transit-contemporary jewelry from israel, 2012, under more at Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim, Goldschmiedehaus Hanau.
The recent project Chronos 2019-2022 was in Munich, and from 19 Nov – 6 Feb 2022, it will be in Padua in the Oratorio di San Rocco, afterwards it will be shown in Idar-Oberstein and Barcelona, Spain.
