Intro
KORU8 is an international contemporary triennial organized now for the eight time. It is the most long-lasting contemporary jewellery event organized in Finland. The first event, KORU1, was established in 2003. The Finnish Jewellery Art Association has been producing the event since 2015 from KORU5.

There was a global open call for KORU8 exhibition with the theme “Into the Woods”. All together, the open call received 452 applications from over 50 different countries. The jury consisted 4 persons, and they chose 47 artist/artist groups from 23 different countries to the exhibiton.

spring 2025 Oulu Art Museum, Oulu, Finland

Organizer:
The Finnish Jewellery Art Association is a non-profit association, established in 2005. The association aims to promote contemporary jewellery in Finland and to improve its recognition as an art and design form. The association operates nationally, but the home location is Lappeenranta.
