The A&D Annual is the largest national showcase of graduate contemporary art and design in Australia, launching the next generation of artists, designers, makers and digital media creators to emerge from the UNSW School of Art & Design.
As one of Australia’s most dynamic and diverse art and design schools, the graduate showcase encompasses animation, sound, digital media and film, visual communication and graphic design, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking and installation, textiles, ceramics, furniture and jewellery, design for social innovation, user experience and more.
The students represented here have chosen Contemporary Jewellery and Object in the Object design discipline as their major work. There are two groups of students in this category. They include students presenting their major project from the Bachelor of Design degree and students who have extended their degree with honours. The guiding teachers involved with this group of students are:
Bachelor of Design degree:
Stephen Goddard (design domain coordinator and major project co-convenor).
Dr. Bic Tieu (jewellery and object designer-maker).
Harriet Watts (object designer).
Bachelor of Design (Honours) degree:
Associate Professor Katherine Moline (design honours convenor).
Chantelle Baistow (design honours tutor).
Prudence Gibson (art and fiction writer).
