María José Jaar's journey began with a degree in Design, specializing in Communications at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. This foundational experience ignited her curiosity and led her to pursue a Bachelor in Fine Arts, focusing on Contemporary Jewellery at Alchimia in Florence, Italy.

Her work seeks to give prominence and visibility to the often-overlooked elements of our surroundings - those items that may seem insignificant but hold rich, untold stories.
