Artist list

Maria Rosa Franzin
The metal and jewellery section at the Pietro Selvatico Art School, was founded in the 1960’s by Mario Pinton. This movement developed into what is today referred to as the Padua School. The school is known for its high-quality craft, often performed in precious metals. Maria Rosa Franzin is one of the artists, who with her elegant pieces of jewellery, passes on the tradition. Franzin has a background as a painter, which can be seen in the surfaces of the objects. Colours and structures bring life into the geometric shapes and absorb the eyes of the viewer.
