On 21 November 2025, Gorgeous Jewellery 3.0, a contemporary jewellery design exhibition, opened at Puyuan Fashion Ancient Town, bringing together nearly a hundred works by more than thirty artists. Guided by the themes of “locality” and “contemporaneity,” the exhibition unfolds as an in-depth dialogue that transcends materials, techniques, and ideas by over thirty artists.
Artist list
Shaila Ahluwalia, Verde Alfieri, Nikolay Bashkardin, Yan Danting, Maryam Gholinavax, HONG Shuyao & WU Xinyi, Shir Hadad, Eleni Koumara, Milagros Kuga, Khajornsak Nakpan, Sana Noshad, Dodo Paruznik, Supavee Sirinkraporn, Sofia Skidan, Tamara Trusova, Ni Yunyun, Sofya Zakharova, Li Zhenghong, Hua Zijing, Jewel X
Contemporary jewellery art, situated at the intersection of body, culture, and concept, constantly seeks new breakthroughs between the legacy of traditional craftsmanship and the exploration of modern aesthetics.
The Gorgeous Jewellery international exhibition series has always centered on the concept of “wearable art.” It aims to break through the traditional constraints of jewellery—those tied to precious materials and ornamental function—and instead explores the multiple possibilities of jewellery as a cultural vessel, an emotional medium, and a form of conceptual expression. In this exhibition, artists employ mixed media, digital craftsmanship, and bodily narratives to construct new languages of adornment—bridging metal, fabric, and even recycled materials—continually expanding the boundaries of what we call “beauty.”
In Puyuan—a historic town where alleyways and workshops coexist, and where tradition interlaces with modernity—Gorgeous Jewellery 3.0 is more than just an exhibition; it is a dialogue through wearing. As jewellery art merges with everyday life, in what new forms will it continue to shape and define the “wearable art history” of our time?

About Puyuan Fashion Resort
Puyuan Fashion Resort is the “twin ancient town” to Wuzhen, created by the same visionary planning and design team. While Wuzhen celebrates culture, Puyuan embraces fashion. The two sit side by side, complementing each other in theme, sharing resources yet thriving independently.
As China’s largest wool sweater market and knitwear hub, Puyuan Fashion Resort redefines fashion beyond clothing, curating a lifestyle of quality and aesthetics. It is designed as a dynamic ecosystem where design, showcase, trade, retail, and experience come together—making it not only a fashion industry cluster but also a high-end travel destination.
Drawing from the waterways and landscapes of Jiangnan, the town blends Tang and Song architectural influences with an imposing grandeur that sets it apart from traditional ancient towns. True to its identity as “China’s Fashion Ancient Town,” Puyuan is constantly innovating and breaking boundaries.
Since its grand opening in 2023, Puyuan Fashion Resort has become a stage for trend-setting events: the Douyin Creators Conference, GQ Men of the Year Gala, Puyuan Fashion Week, Figaro Music Party, Asia Wedding Style 2024, and the China showcase of New York Fashion Week · New Discoveries. It has also been featured in hit shows such as Everybody Stand By, Go Fighting!, Cats in the Box, and The Legend of Shen Li.
With every collaboration and cultural crossover, Puyuan Fashion Resort is accelerating its growth, proving itself as a bold fusion of tradition and fashion—and a new landmark on the global style map.
