Snippets is the result of 36 international art jewellers capturing a sense of place evolved from just a self selected photograph of Manchester. Each artist has developed personal attitudes towards and around making to explore a mixed media approach within different languages of jewellery. The diverse interpretations from a snapshot of the city advocates artistic investment, craftsmanship and creative development for each unique jewel. Snippets has bloomed into a show that turns up the frequency on the creative process and individual voice. Representing an international responsive outlook for works that as a whole, become a new anthem about Manchester.

The show promises to be an exciting response by members of the Precious Collective who have spent 6 months developing almost 100 pieces of new work inspired by snippets of a snapshot of the city.

Precious Collective is excited to be working alongside Black Redstart Gallery and to be part of the first ever UK Jewellery Week.

9th to 28th Sept: Snippets Window Showcase.

11th Sept at 7pm: Private View - all welcome
12th to 13th Sept: Exhibition
Saturday 10am to 7 pm.
