kunst.wirt.schaft is a non-profit art initiative founded in 2002, dedicated to authorship and contemporary jewellery. Its mission is twofold: to present the work of contemporary artists from Austria and beyond, and to foster a context in which jewellery gains greater significance within the broader field of contemporary art.

2025:La memoria delle superfici by Maria Rosa Franzin solo exhibition: October 9 – November 7, 2025
Nature – Balance in Transformation. 13 international jewellery and ceramic artists present new works on the theme: November 28, 2025 – January 23, 2026:

- Schmuck in Münich: March 4 – 8, 2026
- Doris Maninger, solo exhibition: March 25 – April 17, 2026.
The founder of Alchimia/Florence, visual artist, teacher and exhibition designer presents selected works from her wide-ranging practice.
- Barbara Schmid, solo exhibition: April 29 – May 22, 2026.
The internationally renowned artist presents new perspectives in ceramic art
- Dai Shu Ting. Scholarship Exhibition: May 27 – June 19, 2026
Each year, die kunst.wirt.schaft awards a scholarship in the form of an exhibition to a graduate of the Ortweinschule masterclass
- Graduation Exhibition of the Ortweinschule Masterclass for Jewellery and Metal Design: June 23 – June 30, 2026
- Helfried Kodré - Solo exhibition: October 7 – November 6, 2026
The Graz-born and internationally known doyenne of jewellery presents both older and newly created works, made especially for this exhibition
- Hope Christmas exhibition: November 25, 2026 – January 22, 2027
24 jewellery artists from Austria and abroad respond to the theme of hope
To this end, the organisation develops and organises four to six exhibitions per annum. Notably, the project functions as a significant platform for emerging artists, offering recent graduates a professional setting in which to showcase their work. In addition to the management of the gallery, the eight resident jewelry artists are engaged in their own projects and commissions within the on-site atelier.
The kunst.wirt.schaft team now consists of: Corina Hatzi, Chiara Longari, Sigrun Palmisano, Claudia Stuhlhofer-Mayr, and Andrea Zahlbruckner-Jaufer.
On-site facilities: temporary exhibition gallery, meeting room, atelier, contemporary jewellery showcase, selection of contemporary jewellery books.
