META Ti is an Athens-based collective of eight Greek contemporary jewellery artists, founded in the spring of 2023. Inspired by the Greek question “Meta ti?” (“What comes next?”), the collective’s name reflects an ongoing process of artistic exploration, evolution, and openness to new ideas.
The group brings together women of different generations and life experiences who met while studying at ANAMMA Art Jewellery School. United by a shared commitment to contemporary jewellery as a field of artistic research and expression, they embrace collaboration while maintaining distinct artistic voices.
Each META Ti project begins with a common theme, interpreted by every artist through her own conceptual and material approach. Individual experiences, social observations, memories, and cultural references inform works that explore the relationship between body, object, and contemporary life. Together, these diverse artistic perspectives create a cohesive body of work that celebrates both collective identity and individual expression.
At the heart of META Ti’s vision lies artistic experimentation and an ongoing exchange of ideas rooted in collective practice. Through exhibitions, collaborative projects, and public initiatives, META Ti seeks to create meaningful dialogue between contemporary jewellery and wider audiences, contributing to a broader understanding and appreciation of contemporary jewellery in Greece and internationally.
Members list:
Eugenia Feroussi, Anastasia Kandaraki, Maria Karystinou, Fotini Lyra, Anastasia Manesi, Dimitra Papamerkouri, Lily Preve, Varvara Vidalaki
