Bio
Luz Arias is an Argentinian jewellery artist with years of experience in working with different materials and currently focused on borosilicate glass.Each handcrafted piece (ring, necklace, bracelet and earrings) is unique both in form and colour, be it a playful palette or the reflections of a ray of light running through a transparent bright glass.
The magical relationship between fire and melting process results in an unrepeatable and wearable art piece done with singular care and love.
Statement
In my pieces, colour is always found through an intimate and playful search and a profound connection.I deliberately leave traces of the melting process on my pieces, like parts of a story being told...
The watery appearance, the clean surfaces, whether they be shiny or opaque, open a subtle relationship between the piece and the user.
The touch is subtle and loving. Pure joy.
