Open Call 2026 for the Klimt02 New Talents Award. 12th Edition
Published: 27.05.2026

The Klimt02 New Talents Award is an annual international initiative that recognizes emerging talents in contemporary jewellery and arts and crafts while highlighting the educational institutions that help shape them. Each Klimt02 Member School nominates one graduate to represent the institution in the New Talents Award 2026 by Klimt02.
The New Talents Award by Klimt02 was created to recognise emerging talents while highlighting the essential role that schools play in shaping the future of contemporary jewellery and arts and crafts.
Each year, graduation marks a significant moment in the educational journey of students: a transition between learning and professional practice, where years of research, experimentation, technical development, and critical thinking take form through the works they create.
At Klimt02, we believe that outstanding graduation projects are never the result of individual effort alone. Behind every work lies a broader educational environment composed of teachers, mentors, workshops, methodologies, and institutions that make such achievements possible. For this reason, the New Talents Award seeks not only to recognise an individual graduate, but also to acknowledge the schools and educational contexts that help shape new generations of artists and makers.
Through this Open Call, Klimt02 invites its Member Schools to participate in two complementary initiatives:
- The New Talents Award, where each participating school nominates one graduate to represent the institution and become eligible for the Award.
- Degree Shows, which present the annual achievements, educational approaches, and graduating students of each institution.
Together, these initiatives create an international platform where learning, making, and professional development become visible to a global audience.
The winner will be granted with a solo exhibition at Hannah Gallery, gain international visibility through a professional artist profile on Klimt02, and get one of their works acquired for the Maria Luisa Samaranch International Collection.
