Intro
The Klimt02 New Talents Award is an annual international award dedicated to recognising emerging talents in contemporary jewellery and arts and crafts. Through nominations submitted by Klimt02 Member Schools, the Award highlights outstanding graduation projects while acknowledging the educational environments, teachers, and institutions that contribute to their development.

Established in 2015, the Award has become an international platform connecting education, creativity, and professional practice, offering visibility to graduates and promoting the work of schools shaping future generations of artists and makers

The New Talents Award by Klimt02 celebrates emerging talents and the schools that help shape them.

Now in its 12th edition, the Award seeks to recognise outstanding graduation projects while highlighting the educational environments where they originate. Each nominated graduate represents not only an individual achievement, but also the teachers, methodologies, workshops, and institutions that have contributed to the development of the work.

Through the participation of Klimt02 Member Schools, the Award creates an international platform where contemporary jewellery and arts and crafts education becomes visible to a global audience. The nominated projects reflect years of learning, experimentation, research, and critical thinking, offering a unique perspective on the future of the field.

The JURY will focus on several key aspects: the clarity of the artist’s statement, the balance between concept and visual language, the coherence of the project, the quality of the execution, and the work’s ability to offer meaningful layers of interpretation.

At Klimt02, we believe that supporting emerging talents means supporting the educational structures that make those talents possible. For this reason, the Award serves both as a recognition of individual excellence and as a celebration of the role schools play in shaping future professionals.

The winner receives international visibility through Klimt02, a solo exhibition at Hannah Gallery, and the acquisition of one selected work for the Maria Luisa Samaranch Collection. Together, these opportunities create a bridge between graduation and professional practice, allowing one emerging artist to establish a first connection with the professional world.

From June to December 2026, Klimt02 will present the nominated graduates through dedicated articles, newsletters, and social media channels before announcing the Award winner in January 2027.

AWARD NOMINEES
The nominated graduates will be presented in the Klimt02 Forum from June until December 2026 and promoted through the Klimt02 Newsletter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn channels.

ABOUT THE PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS
Klimt02 Member Schools play a fundamental role within the Award. Beyond nominating graduates, they contribute to an international educational network dedicated to contemporary jewellery and arts and crafts.
Through their profiles on Klimt02, schools share information about programmes, workshops, artist residencies, educational opportunities, research activities, and academic initiatives. Together, they form a valuable resource for students, educators, researchers, professionals, and anyone interested in discovering new talents and educational approaches within the field.
The New Talents Award exists thanks to their participation and commitment to education.
