Open Call for Klimt02 New Talents Award 2025 and School Members Degree Show. 11th Edition

Klimt02 Member Schools have the possibility to participate in the Klimt02 New Talents Series, where the graduation project of one student is selected by the school to apply to the New Talent Award 2025 by Klimt02.

The international online projection and interest among our readers to discover the works developed by students under the educational guidelines of the schools it is evident in the more than 55000 visits to the pages of the degree shows, articles of each of the selected nominees, the open call, the award and the award giving.

This confirms the interest and functionality of this award and corroborates the work developed by Klimt02.


>> To apply to this open call:

For the New Talents Award 2025 by Klimt02, select one student to represent your school:
1. Summary of the Bachelor's or Master's thesis, approx. 500 words.
2. A short statement from the department's Professor or teacher.
3. Around 5 Images of the graduate’s work (image size: minimum 1400 pix wide at 72dpi).
4. Caption for each work, please use the following template.
5. Portrait image of the selected student.
6. Contact details of the selected student.

For the Degree Show 2025, submit the following material:
1. A brief text about the show and related subjects (Word document).
2. Images of at least 5 selected graduation works on show with a statement, + - 100 words (image size: minimum 1400 pix wide at 72dpi).
3. Caption for each work, please use the following template.
4. Names of the graduate students.
5. Names of the guiding teachers. 


Key dates:
31 Dec 2025: Deadline for Submission.
12 - 16 Jan 2026: Klimt02 jury team examining period for New Talent Award.
26 Jan 2026: New Talent Award result announced.
To be announced: Exhibition of the Winner at Hannah Gallery.

Prize:
- One-year free artist membership with a personal artist profile at Klimt02
- Solo exhibition of the selected graduation works at Hannah Gallery.
- In 2025, the New Talents Award includes a €1000 prize sponsored by M. Luisa Samaranch, in recognition of a work that will find its place in the Maria Luisa Samaranch Collection — a gesture of support, a gesture of acquisition.
