The evening college for jewelry design at KunstModeDesign Herbststrasse in Vienna is the only vocational training of this kind available in Austria. Linking art, crafts and design it provides the basis for a flexible vocational orientation in the field of jewelry design.
The six-term evening college for jewelry design is linking art, crafts and design and thus provides the basis for a flexible vocational orientation in the field of jewelry design. Apart from providing the classical techniques of creating jewelry and working in metal, the emphasis of this college is on professional training of your artistic and creative skills. This training includes artistic and practical courses as well as theoretical subjects such as the history of art, the theory of contemporary jewelry, design techniques, computer-aided design (CAD) and basic knowledge of business-related economic and legal issues.
The workshops are held in small groups in our studios, providing intensive training and catering for the students’ individual needs. Our team of educators consists of well-known artists and craftspeople as well as professional teachers of theoretical subjects.
The language of instruction is German and classes are held in the evening so that also working students can join the courses.
Apart from costs for material and a set of basic tools, there is no tuition fee. Education leads to a diploma.

Jewellery Design

Application
3 years of studies, six-term evening college, next study starts in September 2022.
Classes are held in the evening (18.00 - 22.00) so that also working students can join the courses. High school diploma, A-levels or an examination of professional practice (“Berufsreifeprüfung”) are required for registration.
Apart from costs for material and a set of basic tools, there is no tuition fee. Education leads to a diploma.
Hours: 23 hours per week.
Application deadline: 10 Jan 2022(12 noon) in the office and online.
