Hibernate, Helena Lehtinen, Eija Mustonen and Tarja Tuupanen

Hibernate is a group of three Finnish contemporary jewellery artist; Helena Lehtinen, Eija Mustonen and Tarja Tuupanen. The group has been founded in 1999 and it has organized several exhibitions in Europe and in USA during the years. While existing over 15 years, it is time to make a landmark and a document from the career done so far.

Text in the book encloses: Forewords will be written by Hibernate on the meaning and need of this book. Text by by Päivi Ruutiainen (FI), Phd in Art History, art critic Hibernate in relation to Finnish contemporary jewellery scene since 1970’s. As well as analysis of an each artist based on latest works by Karen Pontoppidan (DK/DE), professor in Münich Art Academy, jewellery artist.
