Statement

My collection focuses on technology, digital culture and its relationship with young adults. I believe jewelry can act as a communication device to bridge the tangible and intangible, virtual and real. I use sterling silver with alternative materials including plastic, wood, resin, found objects and electronic components to make playful jewelry. With digital technology, my jewelry triggers communication between people and devices, creating a more comfortable environment and more friendly experience. Further, it also encourages people to make their own noise, find their true selves, and embrace their human nature.

People lose their teeth for many reasons, aging, accident, violence, illness, etc. Where these teeth go after shedding? I think teeth are important parts of the human body, they contain our memory, identities, and soul. I create my Eternal Land for these shedding teeth, where has a rose garden, an undersea palace, and an oasis. In the Eternal Land, the shedding teeth are well protected. There is no more pain, sorrow, or separation; only hope and love remaining.
