My belief is that all kinds of art have a strong universal link and all arts are complementary to each other.Coming from another field of art and having an experience as an actress, working for more than ten years at the theater, I have been taught that metamorphosis, feelings, rhythm and aesthetic forms are very important keys for creation. My interest was to explore jewelry, working in an unconventional manner, leaving aside the traditional metals aside and exploring through experiments textures and surfaces that could be achieved, aiming to a metamorphosis of other materials.
Leaving the unconscious to reveal an inner truth, for the last three years I persist in the idea of giving back life to lifeless materials. Although this idea is still haunting me, from time to time I feel the need to let it fade for a while, making space for new developments and then return, until I would feel that this cycle has been closed and a new one is ready to be opened.

Colorful Comeback, 2021-2022
In the difficult time of isolation, working with the magic world of crystal stones was a relief and a crack of joy amid uncertainty and stillness. I was always attracted by the forms, colors and therapeutic power of crystals. Transforming in resin and playing with joyful colors to add lightness, was like a dance of optimism after a very hard period of two years which seems to come to the end. The final synthesis of the pieces is reflecting a smile full of memories, thoughts and feelings coming from beloved landscapes and countryside surroundings, that we missed so much last time.

The layers of nostalgia are colored, 2021
Molded pieces of resin were cut into layers, revealing their inner hidden construction. The final synthesis is reflecting memories, thoughts and feelings coming from landscapes and countryside surroundings. Most of the pieces were created in the winter of 2021 during the incarceration period due to Covid 19 pandemic. A hard period, when it was not only forbidden to travel but also to be a few kilometers away from home and where the lack of the most natural and ordinary things created an incredible nostalgia for the obvious.

The sight of memory, 2020
Eroded pieces of wood from the sea wind, rain and sun found in the yard of my cottage, were selected carefully and became the raw material for the creation of the pieces of the collection. The synthesis and elements that were combined, express memories and my view of places, ruins and objects that have their own story to narrate and talk about time, roots and heritage.

Alive or Dead, 2017 - 2019 and Healing 2017 - 2019
Based on organic forms from nature, resin and color, that lead my work during the last three years, I have been working on two different collections under the same theme. My starting point was the emotion of aesthetic forms of nature and choosing to explore lifeless sculptural pieces, I focused on the idea of how those lifeless materials could give birth to something new, in an attempt to exorcise any kind of loss.
