This publication documents all winning entries to the Herbert Hofmann Award from 1973 to 1008. Such a comprehensive record has been lacking to date because catalogues of the Schmuck show have been issued only since 1983. The present volume thus offers an insight into developments in jewellery in the final quarter of the twentieth century and the early years of the twenty-first. It also charts changes within the exhibition itself over that period.
