Intro
The second edition of Romanian Jewelry Week will take place between September 30 and October 3, 2021, at the Arcub Cultural Center - Gabroveni and in five other related locations in Bucharest, Romania. The event offers for four days an effervescent format of fairs, exhibitions, conferences, guided tours, and many other surprise events dedicated to jewelry lovers.
Romanian Jewelry Week 2021 continues the foundation started at the first edition and is emerging as one of the largest events in Romania dedicated to contemporary jewelry, as well as a landmark on the international map. Over 200 designers from more than 25 countries around the world are part of the ROJW 2021 selection, proposing creations signed by contemporary artists from Romania, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Germany, Hungary, France, Great Britain, Italy, Holland, Greece, Austria, the Republic of Moldova, Israel, China, Iran, South Korea and many more.

The collective area and guest institutions will also feature a special selection of participants, such as Budapest Jewelry Week, Legnica Silver Festival, Milano Jewelry Week, Co-Adorn Art Jewellery Society, graduates of Sheffield Hallam University MFA, and Plus One Collective curated by Jennifer Wells. More special collaborations will be revealed soon.

The second edition of Romanian Jewelry Week also announces an international jury with renowned representatives in the field of contemporary jewelry, who will nominate the ROJW 2021 awards:
  • David Sandu - Curator Romanian Jewelry Week and Founder of Assamblage - Romania.
  • Paulo Ribeiro - JOYA Barcelona Art Jewellery & Objects, Spain
  • Justyna Teodorczyk - Legnica Silver Festival, Poland.
  • Bernadette Pinet-Cuoq - The European Federation of Jewellery Bruxelles, Belgium.
  • Charon Kransen from Charon Kransen Arts New York.
  • The Ilias Lalaounis Jewellery Museum in Athens, Greece.
  • A special section of awards will also be designated by: Enzo Carbone (Milano Jewelry Week), Laura Helena Aureli (Lost in Jewellery, Rome), and Cluster Contemporary Jewellery London

The event is organized by Assamblage - National Association for Contemporary Jewelry, with the support of ARCUB Bucharest and Banca Transilvania.
